How to install
The Bookmark Booster extends your bookmarkfile(s) with the full
links.macnews.de-links-package.
Supported browsers are the Netscape Navigator/ Communicator and
Microsoft's Internet Explorer. To install the package under URL Manager
Pro, please read the appropriate section below.
Due to the fact that the links-package is being changed and
improved continuous, there will be constant further releases!
Don't miss anything! Just install these fine links and relax! It's like
opening a door to a whole new world of Macintosh related informations (and
of fun, too)!
Out now for YOUR Mac!
How to install the package under URL Manager Pro?
Double-click URL Manager Pro, select menu "File", then "Import" and there
select menu item "Import Bookmarks".
You will now be prompted for the bookmarks to import. Select "Booster
Data". URL Manager Pro will now import the new
"links.macnews.de"-bookmarks and displays it in a new window. Just drag
the "links.macnews.de"-Folder at the preferred position into your own
bookmark-window.
Close the "Booster Data"-window without saving! But don't forget to save
your own bookmarks, before exiting URL Manager Pro.
Before running Bookmark Booster a second time!
If you have already installed an earlier (or current) version of the
links-package, make sure you have deleted these bookmarks in your browser
(or URL Manager Pro) before running Bookmark Booster again. This is
because otherwise you would be confronted with having two versions of the
package installed.
How can I remove my old links.macnews.de-links?
Netscape Browsers
Start your browser (if there are different user profiles existing, please
follow these steps for each user who had the package installed. Please
refer to Netscape's manual how to start your browser with a specificate

Now select menu "Bookmarks" and there the item "Edit Bookmarks". A window
with a list of your bookmarks opens. Select the folder "links.macnews.de"
and press backspace, to erase these links.
Once you're done, close the window and exit the browser.
Internet Explorer
Start your browser. Now select menu "Favorites" and there the item
"Open Favorites". A window with a list of your bookmarks opens.
Select the folder "links.macnews.de" and press backspace, to erase
these links. Once you're done, close the window and exit the browser.
